THN (Technische Handelsonderneming Nederland b.v.) is a wholesaler of technical products that keeps its own stock. THN deliberately limits the number of products it carries so that it has as much knowledge as possible about all the products it offers. THN was founded in 1940. Since 1970, it has specialised in piston rings, Fey laminar rings, slide bearings, sintered filters and hardened ground shafts. The company aims to supply as much as possible from stock; which is why it holds an extremely comprehensive and large range of stock. THN imports all its products independently.

Worldwide delivery

From its warehouses in Enschede (covering around 1,500 m²), THN serves the OEM, repair, overhaul and maintenance markets with high-quality products. We deliver to our customers worldwide, both directly and through resellers and technical dealers.

Service

Service is hugely important and we are ready to help with technical support and customised solutions, both technical and logistical. We can advise you in the development of customised solutions, including the creation of technical diagrams (CAD). We can also offer logistic services, with on-call orders, planned deliveries and various other solutions.

Historie

1940 - Founded by brothers H.J. Scheele and G.J.H. Scheele as an engine parts wholesaler.
1950 - Construction of and relocation to new building at H. ter Kuilestraat 30 in Enschede.
1955 - Extension to H. ter Kuilestraat 30 for extra storage space.
1970 - Specialisation in piston rings after acquisition of factory stock from Nova (around 1,000,000 piston rings).
1970 - Extension to H. ter Kuilestraat 30 for storing the purchased batch of piston rings.
1974 - Foundation of subsidiary company Kracht Nederland B.V. for the trade in slide bearings.
2000 - Extension to IJsbaanweg 107-109 for extra storage space.
2004 - Closure of subsidiary company Kracht-Nederland B.V. and integration of the products in THN.
2006 - Acquired the agency of Fey Lamellenringe GmbH for the Netherlands.
2007 - Addition of hardened ground shafts to the product range.
2007 - Purchase of first grinding machine (shaft diameters from 4 to 40 mm).
2009 - Purchase of second building at IJsbaanweg 91 for the storage and processing of hardened ground shafts.
2010 - Delivery of second grinding machine (shaft diameters from 10 to 120 mm).
2011 - New website and documentation; new catalogues now available for all products.
